Hi!

Is it grammatically correct to say "have you finished bathing" or "did you have a bath"? What's the difference between them?

Both are grammatically correct. There is a little difference in their meanings.

Have you finished bathing?

This sentence would be used when someone is currently bathing. You are asking if they are finished or done.

Did you have a bath?

Most native speakers would probably say, “Did you take a bath?”.

This sentence would be used to ask someone if they have bathed recently.
