Yes, it is correct to say, "I have little money."

You could also say

1. I have very little money.
2. I have a little money.
3. I have a little bit of money.

The word little can be defined in a few ways.

Here are definitions of little as an adjective.

1. small in size

Example: The little baby slept in my arms.

2. short in duration or time

Example: We will be there in a little while.

3. small in number

Example: The teacher had a little classroom with only 10 kids.

4. small in amount

Example: She had little money to pay rent.

5. young

Example: He is just a little boy.

When you are describing an amount of money, you could use definition 4.
