A glossary is a list of words/terms and their meanings, especially on a particular subject, or in a particular book.

In this glossary we will explain some of the words and terms relating to COOKING.

So we'll start with these words, and add some more in the future:

To prepare food by heating it, for example by boiling, baking or frying.

To cook food in boiling water. Boiling water is water that is so hot it has bubbles inside.

To cook food in an oven, using dry heat.

To cook food in oil or fat.

To cook food with dry heat in an oven or over a fire.
