American Pronunciation Course

This is a self-study American pronunciation course. It is designed to help English learners with their foreign accents. This is important because it can greatly increase your confidence while speaking, and solve pronunciation misunderstandings ("Excuse me, what did you say?").

This course is suitable for intermediate learners and above.

How does it work?

The course is divided into 15 weeks.

Each week you receive audio and video lessons, as well as assignments.

You get to learn and practice each sound of English.

Here are some example subjects: the "th" sound, the different kinds of "ah" sounds, the special English "r" sound, and much more.

Here is an overview video:

In the words of Sheri Summers (the creator of this course):

"You can lose out on jobs and promotions which could easily be worth thousands of dollars per year.

You can lose clients and customers who feel it's too difficult to do business with you because they don't understand you well.

You can lose out on new friends, opportunities, and even love interests because you don't have the confidence you need to grab the good things in life.

This is totally unfortunate and not fair!! I know it and I feel for you. Really I do.

If you learned English like most people I know, you got a good education in grammar and vocabulary, but chances are, your English teacher didn't teach you about pronunciation.  It's very possible he or she didn't know much about it either.

But now it's time to change that!"

It really is.
