Which of the following sentences is incorrect?
  1. We are working hard and well.
  2. Julie is a good mother.
  3. Joe is a well and healthy boy.
  4. I don't feel very well.

The incorrect sentence is sentence number three:
  • Joe is a well and healthy boy.


In the above sentence "well" was used as an adjective, before the noun.

Even though "well" can indeed be used as an adjective, it is generally not used before a noun.

Here is the same sentence corrected:
  • Joe is a good and healthy boy.
